The earliest version of Sokoban I know about was a DOS program by Spectrum Holobyte; the game was credited as by K. Bentebal, F. Soebrata and J. Sather. The levels in this version of the game are taken from the original version. Most of the enjoyment of this game I believe, comes from the challenging levels designed by the original authors.
